Postcards from Cherokee

Some more postcards of various vintages, from Cherokee:

I didn't even know they had (have?) a chairlift in Cherokee.

Things were a little different way back when.

The Cherokee Tavern? I think I recognize the building, but never knew it was a tavern.

The fine looking gentleman on these two cards is Moses Walkingstick.

Frontier Land (1962-1982?) in its hey-day. And am I correct that it was located on the site now occupied by the Casino?

And, a postcard of the lovely Oconaluftee.

That is in fact the Cherokee Tavern. I have a postcard on eBay right now that includes the sign that says “Cherokee Tavern” and it’s the same storefront.
